About the role

Join a security-sensitive role in Dallas focused on developing algorithms, software, and analysis workflows for biomedical and clinical research.
Responsibilities: Analyze and build formalisms, algorithms, and software for applications in biomedical research Develop and maintain software tools and infrastructure to address defined research problems Oversee the development, testing, and revision of team programs in collaboration with diverse bioinformatics expertise Train users and other personnel on how to analyze, define, and resolve computational problems Perform other duties as assigned Provide oversight for analysis and development of algorithms and software for clinical and/or basic research problems Oversee and participate in programs that impact data acquisition, data management, and data analysis across basic, translational, and clinical research, including clinical trials
Requirements: PhD in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, (Bio)mathematics, (Bio)statistics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or Master’s (M.S.) in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, (Bio)mathematics, (Bio)statistics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or Bachelor’s (B.S.) with demonstrated experience in broadly defined bioinformatics areas 2 years of post-graduation experience in data analysis and/or scientific software development with a PhD 4 years of post-graduation experience in data analysis and/or scientific software development with a Master’s 6 years of post-graduation experience in data analysis and/or scientific software development with a Bachelor’s
