To enhance the quality and utility of satellite images, the full-time Senior Image Processing Engineer will develop processing algorithms and maintain the image processing pipeline, collaborating across the organization while working remotely or near the Seattle, WA office.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop algorithms and tools to convert raw pixel values into imagery products
Maintain algorithms and tools throughout their operational life cycle, particularly in commercial operations
Collaborate across the organization to improve imaging operations and define new imagery products and capabilitiesRequired QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Astronomy, Physics, Computer Science, or related engineering fields
Minimum five years developing image processing algorithms
Minimum five years developing software in Python
Minimum three years working with an operational imaging system
A strong mathematical base in algorithm development, data processing, and uncertainty propagation
