Neurology experience is not mandatory, but candidates must be comfortable working in a heavy Neuro unit and willing to learn. Must be comfortable using the NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS).Ability to care for post-surgical neurology patients. Knowledge of various neurological diagnoses is preferred. Holiday Requirements Thanksgiving: Covered; time off may be accommodated. New Year's: Covered; time off may be accommodated. Christmas: Additional staffing support is typically needed.
