Daily Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive eye exams medical and vision test exams Prescribe and fit contact lenses Provide postoperative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries Manage patient recall and follow-up appointments Required Skills: Doctor of Optometry degree Experience in eye care and ocular disease management Proficiency in performing refractions and optometric testing Knowledge of optomap and optical coherence tomography Ability to provide vision therapy and low vision services Nice to Have Skills: Experience in LASIK co-management Expertise in prescription dispensing Familiarity with primary care optometry Technical Skills: Expertise in cataract evaluation and management Knowledge of postoperative care protocols Understanding of ophthalmology procedures Salary and Benefits: The salary for this position ranges from $110,000 to $130,000 annually, with additional benefits including health insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) options, holiday pay, and paid time off.
