Volunteer GED Tutors

We always welcome new tutors to join our amazing team of volunteers to work with our students. Our tutors are essential to our organization. Their dedication, patience and mentoring give our students the personalized educational experience they need to succeed. At the beginning of each semester, All The Way Up conducts our own in-house tutor training so our volunteers are well prepared to empower adult learners. Tutors develop meaningful relationships with their students as they work together for the duration of each semester. Here's how you can help:? Help Adult Learners with basic skills or prepare for their GED exam in basic reading, writing, math, social studies, or science Commit to tutoring 1-2 hours each week for a 12 week semester Increase your understanding and appreciation of different values, cultures, and lifestyles Enhance your creative problem-solving skills Be a part of a diverse intergenerational teaching and learning environment Tutor training available onsite.
