Medical-Surgical Travel Registered Nurse

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the MedSurg unit, assessing and monitoring patient health. Implement physician orders and administer medications safely. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to formulate effective care plans. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and preventative care. Maintain accurate documentation of patient status and treatment. Ensure the operation of medical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements. Strong clinical skills in a MedSurg environment Proficient in using electronic health records Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team Strong organizational and multitasking skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Louisiana BLS Certification ACLS preferred
