Key responsibilities:
Review and respond to underwriting inquiries promptly and courteously
Mentor Junior Underwriters and assist Title Examiners with title-related questions
Underwrite and service title insurance transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Required qualifications:
Illinois underwriting experience is mandatory
Strong background in title operations and underwriting standards
Ability to evaluate complex risks and communicate concerns effectively
Experience in collaborating with attorneys, escrow agents, and lenders
Proficiency in reviewing and assessing legal documents related to title
