The incumbent is responsible for coordinating the functions of all departments within the plant to assure the highest quality products and services are provided to our customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct plant on a daily basis to meet objectives
Hold weekly manager meetings to communicate and discuss plant issues
Review efficiency reports on a regular basis to assure all departments are meeting objectives
Review financial reports on the profit and loss of the facility to assure objectives are being met
Oversee annual plant budgeting process and approve annual budget submittal to Executive Group
Budget capital project expenditures and approve projects submitted to Executive Group
Develop annual finished goods inventory plan and oversee the management of the plan
Oversee management of the ISO, quality improvement, and training programs
Hold annual wage and benefit review with all the employees and make recommendations of change to Executive Group
All those in this job responsibility will review these above duties and responsibilities and will be introduced to them and trained in this position
Responsible for Food Defense.
Responsible for maintaining and adhering to established Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP) ISO, and Safety Quality Foods (SQF) compliance requirements.
Responsible for adhering to Food Safety Compliance.
Respond to any emergency or potential emergency.
Security diligence, including maintaining control of door accesses, preventing unauthorized entry to the facility by non-Berry employees and proper maintenance/security of Berry equipment and information.
Constant vigilance and participation in GMP and SQF practices.
Assist in the prevention of nonconforming product from being shipped to customers.
Identify and record problems relating to product, process and quality systems.
Initiate action to prevent occurrences of any non-conformity of product or quality systems.
Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels.
Suggest actions for continual improvement to products, processes or systems and very the implementation of solutions.
Responsible for promoting and enforcing established SQF and ISO requirements
Track, confirm and verify training for employees in the department and schedule training as needed and required.
