Position Overview: This is a chance to join a well-capitalized trading firm with Billions in AUM, top-tier technical capabilities, and a track record of strong performance-based compensation. They are seeking an experienced Financial Transmission Right (FTR) trader to focus on trading congestion products across multiple Independent System Operators/Regional Transmission Organizations (ISO/RTOs). The role involves active trading, market research, and the design of trading strategies. As part of a growing FTR trading team, you will work closely with analysts and experienced traders to evaluate opportunities, manage positions, and test new ideas.

Responsibilities: Trade FTRs and related congestion products across multiple ISO/RTO markets Conduct research on power market fundamentals and congestion dynamics Develop and implement new trading strategies and risk management approaches Monitor and analyze trades, positions, and portfolio exposures Collaborate with team members Qualifications 2+ years of experience as an FTR trader or in a closely related role Strong working knowledge of at least one ISO/RTO market Experience managing the full lifecycle of a strategy, including risk oversight Proficiency in modeling, programming, and quantitative techniques Strong analytical background, comfortable applying probability and statistics Ability to make decisions under pressure in a fast-paced environment📧 Sounds like you?
