Sales Representative Dick Van Dyke Inc. is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our company by working directly with customers, learning our products and services, and helping deliver an exceptional in-store experience. We provide comprehensive training on our products, services, and company policies to help you succeed from day one. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, and takes pride in creating a welcoming and professional shopping experience. Sales Representative Pay Structure: Manufacturer SpiffsDick Van Dyke Inc. offers new Sales Representative the choice between two compensation plans: Option 1: Base Salary + Commission$32,000 annual base salary during the first 12 months of employment 7% commission on sales Option 2: Straight Commission 14% commission on sales$5,400 training pay paid over a 12-week training period
Sales Representative Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service
- Engage customers by answering questions and recommending products and services
- Guide customers to the products and solutions that best fit their needs
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Proactively approach and assist customers throughout the store
- Develop and maintain strong knowledge of products and services
- Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals
- Handle customer concerns professionally and work with the customer service team to resolve issues
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor, including displays and merchandise
Sales Representative Qualifications:
- Previous success in sales, retail, or customer-facing roles preferred
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Clean background
- Friendly, personable, and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
