Food Quality Control Inspector (PM Shift)

Department: Quality Assurance

Reports to: Quality Assurance Assistant DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ▪ Processing and packaging reviews▪ Pre-op and Operational sanitation plant inspection▪ Assist in plant testing▪ Testing and sampling of products in process and finished items to evaluate product quality andsafety▪ During any change to new packaging or products, review specifications for completeness.▪ Assure that all pertinent information is documented appropriately for incoming materials.▪ Enforce procedures and controls to assure that all products are prepared according to the FWFstandards and specifications.▪ Check equipment calibration.▪ Daily processing and packaging process reviews▪ Ensure conformance to specifications▪ Report problems or concerns to QA Assistant.▪ Daily review of all QA reports, including HACCP▪ Maintain test and troubleshoot all instrumentation devices.▪ Others assigned  QUALIFICATIONS: ▪ One year of QC inspector food industry experience.▪ High School Diploma or GED required▪ Ability to work in a team environment.▪ Bilingual in English/Spanish▪ Ability to handle multiple tasks.▪ Ability to use best judgment.▪ Computer skills (word, Excel, Power Point)▪ Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees▪ Open to working night and weekend.\nCompany
