Your New Role Prepare detailed project estimates using landscape, civil, and architectural plans Perform quantity takeoffs and verify project information as needed Develop pricing for labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and project logistics Use Sage Estimating and digital takeoff software such as Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, Plan Swift, or similar platforms Request and evaluate vendor pricing and subcontractor proposals Coordinate procurement planning and material buyouts Identify scope gaps, project risks, exclusions, and long-lead materials Support value engineering efforts and change order pricing Maintain estimating records, pricing databases, templates, and documentation Work closely with design, sales, procurement, and production teams to support successful project delivery Assist with job costing and continuous improvement of estimating processes Hiring Expectations: Apply today, complete a quick phone screening, and get ready for an interview with our team to discuss your goals and experience.3+ years of direct estimating experience in landscape construction, sitework, high-end residential, or design-build projects; candidates with 3–5 years of experience may be considered, while a seasoned, industry-specific estimating background is preferred Direct experience estimating landscape construction scopes such as hardscape, irrigation, drainage, outdoor living, and sitework Experience independently preparing detailed estimates and quantity takeoffs using digital estimating workflows Ability to read and interpret landscape, civil, and architectural plans and specifications Knowledge of landscape construction methods, sequencing, material procurement, and project budgeting Experience with Sage Estimating and On-Screen Takeoff is preferred, not required Experience with Bluebeam, Plan Swift, or similar estimating and takeoff software is preferred Familiarity with Sage 300 CRE is a plus Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines effectively Strong written and verbal communication skills Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills Ability to visit project sites when necessary Reliable daily commute to the Far Hills, New Jersey office The Todd Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
