Job Description
Summary:
Food Depot is currently seeking an experienced, full-time Scanner to join our Westside Shopping Center location, located at 2495 Frederick Ave, Baltimore, MD 21223.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for accurately maintaining and executing the pricing data base to POS (point of sale)
- To complete all price changes and signage for store in a timely manner.
- Understands reports received and action to be taken.
- Understands and follows the scanning schedule.
- Performs audits of the scanning data.
- Perform item comparisons and item deletes on store item files.
- Collaborate with buyers and merchandisers to maintain pricing integrity. Resources information from various sources as needed. (Corporate contact person, e-mail, store mail, etc.)Maintains shelf labels and signs in all departments.
- Performs scan verification weekly.
Qualifications:
Ability to bend, twist, reach and standing/walking for long periods.
Must be detail oriented.
Understands and follows all procedures for completion of mandatory reports.
