As aCNC Programmer, you will develop, optimize, and validate sophisticated CNC programs that support the production of highly engineered components used in critical energy applications worldwide. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced multi-axis machining centers, large-scale precision components, cutting-edge CAM software, and industry-leading machine controls while driving continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. What You’ll Do:
Develop, maintain, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam, Siemens NX, Esprit 2000, and related CAM software. Create and support CNC programs for: Multi-axis milling Turning Grinding operations Verify and validate CNC programs usingVERICUTprior to production release. Provide daily programming, troubleshooting, and technical support to shop floor operators. Program and optimize advanced machine tool controls, including: Fanuc Siemens Okuma Haas Develop and troubleshoot: Fanuc Macro B routines Variable-based programming Renishaw probing routines Closed Loop Machining (CLM) processes Support Manufacturing Engineers during machine startups, rebuilds, and process improvement initiatives. Train operators on CNC programs, machine controls, and best practices. Develop workstation instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures. Define tooling requirements, fixture strategies, inventory standards, and tooling consumption rates. Lead continuous improvement projects focused on: Safety Quality Cost reduction Delivery performance Support machining operations involving large-scale precision components weighing up to 50,000 lbs. Collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to drive world-class manufacturing performance.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institutionORHigh School Diploma/GED with manufacturing or operations experience. Minimum of 2 additional years of manufacturing or operations experience. Hands-on CNC programming experience within a manufacturing environment. Strong proficiency with: MastercamVERICUTExperience developing and optimizing CNC programs for complex machining applications. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment. Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
