ABOUTTHEROLE Cavcoisseekinganexperiencedandstrategicleaderwithinthemanufacturedhousingindustrytooverseeanddirectoverallplantoperations. The General Managerisresponsibleforensuringbusinessobjectivesareachievedprofessionally, ethically, andinaccordancewithcompanypolicyandcorevalues. The General Managerhasaresponsibilitytoinfluencecorevaluesbydemonstratingthem. Safetyand Qualitywillbeemphasizedaspriorityoverthroughputanddemonstratedinbusinessplanningthroughmeasurableannualresults. Additionally, the General Managerisresponsiblefordecisionswhichinfluenceoperationalresultsincludingbutnotlimitedtoprofitability, plantdirection, productmixandpricing. The General Managerhasthemanagementresponsibilityandauthorityforthetotaloperationofanindividualplant. He/sheisaccountableforresults, developmentofKPIs, andcontinuousimprovement. Relocationassistancemaybeofferedforqualifiedcandidateswillingtorelocatefortherole. ESSENTIALDUTIES&RESPONSIBILITIES The General Managerisresponsiblefortheoverallleadership, performance, andcomplianceoftheplant. Dutiesandresponsibilitiesinclude, butarenotlimitedto, thefollowing: Asset Protection&Controls Ensureallcompanyassetsareproperlysafeguardedandthateffectiveinternalcontrolsareestablishedandmaintained. Quality Assurance Ensuretheplantconsistentlyproducescode-compliant, high-qualityhomes. Conductperiodicinspectionsofplantoutputtovalidateadherencetoqualitystandards. Business Planning&Execution Collaboratewithdepartmentheadstodeveloptheannualbusinessplannarrative. Ensureoperationsarealignedwithandmeetbusinessplanobjectivesonadaily, weekly, monthly, andannualbasis. Regulatory Compliance Maintainfullcompliancewithalllocal, state, andfederallawsandregulations, includingthoserelatedtoproductconstruction, employeehealthandsafety, andrecordkeeping. Team Leadership&Development Ensureemployeesarecompetentandalignedwithcompanycorevalues. Conductannualperformancereviewsfordirectreportsandadministercompensationfairlyandequitablybasedonperformance. Customer Engagement Activelycultivateandmaintainstrongcustomerrelationships. Regularlyvisitcustomerstoensuresatisfactionandthatcompanyoperatingobjectivesarebeingmet. Legal&Risk Management Coordinatewiththe Regional Vice President(RVP)and Cavco Compliance Departmentregardinganypotentialoractuallegalmatters, includingservice-relatedissues. Promptlyreportandforwardanylegaldocumentsreceivedforproperhandlingandrecordkeeping. Reviewmonthlybudgetversusactualperformancewithdepartmentheadstoensurealignmentandmaximizeprofitability. Identifyissues, implementcorrectiveactions, andensureappropriatefollow-up. Leadership&Culture Process Improvement Establishhighexpectationsthroughstrongprocessesacrossallareasofmanagement. Focusonimprovingprocessesbeforeaddressingpersonnelchanges. P&LManagement Manageplantprofitandlossperformancetomeetorexceedbudgetexpectations. Understandandoptimizetheimpactofproductmix, pricing, andspecificationsonfinancialresults. Capital Planning Collaboratewithdepartmentheadstoidentifycapitalexpenditureneedsanddevelopsupportingdocumentationforinvestmentsinsystems, equipment, andprocessesthatdrivecontinuousimprovement. Minimum

Qualifications: Bachelor’sdegreeorequivalentexperienceinthemanufacturedhousingorrelatedindustryrequired. Provenleadershipandsupervisoryexperiencerequired. Demonstratedabilitytoleadandsupportmultipleteamsinconsistentlyachievingproductiongoals. Demonstratedcapabilitytocoachanddeveloppeopleleaders, includingfunctionalmanagers, withafocusonbuildingtheirabilitytolead, coach, anddeveloptheirownteams. Abilitytosuccessfullypassapre-employmentdrugscreening.
