Pharmacists also conduct health and wellness screenings, manage pharmacy inventory, and collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care. Their role is essential in maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients. Receiving and filling prescriptions Communicating with medical professionals about patients and their medications Listening to patients' reports of symptoms and provide suggestions for over-the-counter medications Accurately measuring, preparing and distributing proper medications to the patients that need them Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility prior to appointment. Ensure accuracy in patient billing and coding information. Organize and maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the reception area.
