Accenture Flex employees work in their local metro area onsite at the project, significantly reducing and/or eliminating the demands to travel. As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for acting as a software detective, providing a dynamic service by identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively, take responsibility for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, contribute to key decisions, and provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.
Responsibilities include:
Driving a shared service strategy and performance culture Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for application development. Implement best practices in software development to enhance application performance and reliability. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high-quality deliverables. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve application development processes. Mentor junior developers and share knowledge to foster a collaborative learning environment. This role requires being onsite 3+ days per week with the client in one of the following locations: Pennington NJ, Jersey City NJ, Scottsdale AZ or Charlotte NC
Basic Qualifications:
- Advanced proficiency in Core Java is required
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
- Associates Degree or greater
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced proficiency in React.js is recommended
- Advanced proficiency in PL/SQL (Programming Language), Spring Boot, and Apache Kafka is suggested
- Proven working experience in Java development and Software development
- Knowledge of Relational Database
- Experience with GIT, Eclipse
- Strong knowledge of XML, JSON and its usage within API and Microservice implementations at scale
- Familiarity with Eclipse IDE, WebLogic Application server or JBossAble to contribute toAutomationCausal analysis
- Develop shared/common solutions. Strong verbal and written communication skills (both to a technical and non-technical audience)
- Analytical Thinking, Attention to Detail, Team Leadership, Problem Solving, Innovative thinking, mentoring
- Operating in a highly Agile continuous integration and continuous deployment environment
