Occupational Therapist Centered in the heart of San Joaquin County, Adventist Health Lodi Memorial has been one of the area's leading healthcare providers since 1952. We are comprised of a 190-bed hospital, 17 medical offices, home care services, comprehensive cancer care and a vast scope of award-winning services located throughout Lodi and the surrounding areas. Lodi is known for its small-town charm, extensive vineyards and delicious local restaurants and bakeries. The allure of Lodi's close-knit community is complimented by its proximity to major metropolitan cities in the Bay Area and Sacramento, as well as a quick drive to Lake Tahoe or the Northern California coast. Plans and conducts segments of treatment programs designed to restore and improve physical, social and mental functions, while meeting department objectives. Serves as co-leader in interdisciplinary approach to patient groups. Education and Work Experience: Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD): Required; only if obtained license on or after January 2007; or foreign equivalent. Two years' occupational therapy experience: Preferred.
Licenses/Certifications:
Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice: Required Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required Facility Specific License/Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification: Required. Completes evaluations to ensure quality standards and addresses assessment areas that require attention. Uses appropriate clinical techniques and tools and establishes individualized treatment plans for patients. Provides therapy interventions using appropriate treatment protocols and techniques. Establishes individualized care and discharge plans and ensures plans are communicated to appropriate parties. Completes comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines. Supervises assigned assistants. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
