Job Full Description Company Information: A manufacturing company in Columbus is hiring a skilled CNC Machinist Programmer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, advanced machining, and creating high-accuracy components using wire EDM technology.

- Open to someone full-time or part-timeCNC Machinist Programmer's Job Duties:
- Create, modify, and optimize CNC wire EDM programs using CAD/CAM platforms (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, etc.)Interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and GD&T specifications
- Set up and operate CNC wire EDM machines with Fanuc controls
- Perform precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, CMM equipment, and other inspection tools
- Troubleshoot machining issues including tool wear, machine performance, and electrical discharge machining processes
- Apply lean manufacturing principles to improve workflow, reduce waste, and enhance overall efficiency
- Partner with engineering to review CAD models and recommend improvements for manufacturability and toolpath strategyCNC Machinist Programmer'sRequirements:
- Hands-on experience programming CNC wire EDM equipment (preferably with Fanuc controls)
- Strong understanding of CAD and CAM systems
- Familiarity with CNC milling and turning operations is a plus
- Solid knowledge of GD&T and precision measurement practices
- Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints
- Mechanically inclined with a strong understanding of machining processes and tooling setups
- Continuous-improvement mindset with exposure to lean manufacturing principles
