SCDOT Asphalt Roadway Technician

Responsibilities: Perform field services for soils, foundations, pavement sections, reinforced concrete, structural masonry, wood framing, structural steel and other special inspections, as applicable. Coordinate with contractors, and NOVA staff regarding execution of required services and result of testing and/or inspections, as applicable. Prepare detailed and complete daily field reports

Required: SCDOT in Asphalt Roadway Technician (ART) is requiredSCDOT Certifications in Concrete, Earthworks, Hot Mix Asphalt are a plus 2+ years of experience in construction inspection with a focus on roadway field inspection and HMA quality assurance lab testing Highly desired with a minimum of 3 years of experience in roadway and bridge construction Strong knowledge of SCDOT construction standards and procedures Check out our
