About the role

About WeaponUpWeaponUp is a fast-growing women’s wellness company and the creator of The Original Sword Yoga™, a movement practice combining the kung fu straight sword with yoga. Through our online Studio, community, live experiences and events, WeaponUp is building a new approach to movement centered around strength, confidence and grace. Our global community is made up almost entirely of women, and our mission is simple: to create movement experiences that help women feel graceful, empowered, more capable and more at home in their bodies. WeaponUp is a growing, founder-led company based in Florida, with a creative, fast-moving team working across content, community, events, partnerships and digital wellness.
The Role: We’re looking for an energetic and highly organised Community & Event Coordinator who loves people, events, and building community. What You’ll Do:
  • Engage with members across the WeaponUp online platform and community groups
  • Welcome new members and encourage conversations and participation
  • Support community challenges, meetups, groups, launches, and programming
  • Gather community feedback, testimonials, ideas, and emerging trends
  • Help plan and execute WeaponUp events, pop-ups, production weeks, festivals, conventions, classes, and partner activations
  • Coordinate venues, vendors, schedules, inventory, signage, equipment, registrations, and event logistics* Create event timelines, checklists, packing lists, and run-of-show documents
  • Communicate with partners, instructors, venues, vendors, and attendees
  • Travel with the WeaponUp team and support event setup, execution, and breakdown
  • Support marketing campaigns around events, launches, partnerships, and community initiatives
  • Identify great community stories and user-generated content for WeaponUp’s marketing channels
