Human Resources Specialist Location: Remote, United States Employment: Full-time
Base salary: $60,000–$65,000 annually, depending on relevant experience
We're looking for an organized, approachable Human Resources Specialist to support recruitment, onboarding, and everyday people operations. You'll help candidates stay informed, new colleagues get settled, and our team keep essential HR processes running smoothly.
What you'll do:
- Coordinate job postings, interview schedules, and candidate communications.
- Support onboarding and offboarding, including documentation, checklists, and coordination with colleagues.
- Keep employee records, HR documents, and recruitment trackers accurate and organized.
- Respond to routine employee questions and direct more complex matters to the appropriate person.
- Help organize training, employee feedback activities, and performance review schedules.
- Improve templates and everyday processes to make hiring and employee administration easier.
- What you'll bring
- Relevant experience in HR, recruitment, administration, customer service, or a coordination role. Internships and other practical experience are welcome.
- Clear written communication and a friendly, professional approach.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and reliable follow-through.
- Good judgment when handling confidential information.
- Confidence using spreadsheets, shared documents, calendars, and online collaboration tools.
- The ability to manage your work independently and keep colleagues informed.
- You'll need a degree in human resources or a related field, an HR certification such as the aPHR or SHRM-CP, or at least two years of hands-on HR experience.
