Job Title: Sales Applications Engineer

Location: Remote (HQ in NY)

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: Up to $130,000

About the Company: Our client is a well-established mid-sized automation and integrated systems provider serving life sciences, automotive, aerospace, electronics/semiconductor, EV, and industrial markets. The team delivers complex, custom automation solutions and is expanding its Applications talent to support continued growth across high-value capital equipment programs.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Develop complex custom equipment proposals, detailed estimates, ROM budgets, and fixed-price quotes
Lead mechanical and electrical concept development for automated assembly, testing, robotics, material handling, and custom machinery
Manage large or complex quoting projects, conduct peer reviews, mentor junior Applications Engineers, and support projects from concept through installation

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or an equivalent technical background 10+ years of industrial automation experience, including experience estimating and quoting custom automation equipment
Advanced experience with 2D and 3D layouts, GD&T, tolerance analysis, timing diagrams, DFMA, labor and material costing, and customer technical presentations
