Assistant Superintendent

The Assistant Superintendent will work closely with the Superintendent to manage all aspects of the golf course and facility grounds. This will include, but is not limited to, crew management, leading monthly safety meetings, pesticide/fertilizer applications, irrigation repair, drainage installation, daily course set up, and building maintenance. Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:1-3 years turf grass management 2+ years of golf course experience required Indiana Pesticide license required within 6 months Supervisory experience preferred2 or 4 year turf degree preferred, but not requiredGCSAA Member or apprentice preferred, but not required Knowledge of budgeting and expense management Must possess basic computer skills – Word and ExcelMust have a strong business aptitude and passion for the golf business Must be highly organized and efficient with a high attention to detail Must have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Must Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
