Sharepoint Engineer

Overview As a Share Point Engineer at Rollins, you will design, deploy, and optimize the Share Point Online platform within a Microsoft 365 environment to enable scalable collaboration, governance, and AI-enabled productivity. You will work closely with IT, security, and business teams to ensure secure, compliant, and high-performing collaboration solutions. The role blends architecture, administration, and modernization efforts, including migrations and automation, to support enterprise knowledge sharing. This is a senior technical resource shaping how teams collaborate across the company and support business goals. Compensation / Benefitsmedical, dental, vision 401(k) with company matchemployee stock purchase plantuition reimbursementpaid time offhybrid work arrangements Responsibilities Build, configure, deploy, and maintain Share Point Online sites, hubs, libraries, lists, pages, navigation, metadata Design scalable Share Point architectures aligned with governance standards Administer and support enterprise Share Point environments for availability and usability Develop governance, standards, and best practices for site owners and users Troubleshoot complex permission, content management, search, and performance issues; handle integrations Create and maintain technical docs, site standards, and support procedures Perform migrations, modernization, and content lifecycle management initiatives Provide Tier 3 Share Point support and technical leadership Monitor platform health, adoption, and operational metrics; drive improvements Mentor junior administrators and support personnel Collaborate on security, compliance, and data governance with Microsoft 365 services Assist with AI initiatives and governance for Copilot and AI-enabled features Key requirements Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/IS or related field or equivalent experience 5+ years of senior-level Share Point administration and engineering experience Extensive experience with Share Point Online, information architecture, metadata, and governance Experience managing Share Point permissions and security models in large enterprises Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) identity and access management Experience implementing Microsoft Purview governance and compliance capabilities Understanding of SQL concepts and databases in relation to Share Point Power Shell scripting and Share Point automation Knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and collaboration services Experience supporting AI-enabled technologies (Microsoft Copilot) or enterprise AI initiatives Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills Excellent communication and collaboration capabilities Strong communication Stakeholder management Problem-solving Share Point Online Microsoft 365 Entra Identity (Azure AD)
