Salary: $49,374.00 - $72,209.48 annually How you'll make an impact in this role Evaluate injuries and develop treatment and exercise plans within the scope of practice under the guidance of supervising team physician Implement individualized therapeutic interventions and establish exercise programs for specific needs Provide medical care and support to athletes during athletic practices and games, ensuring safety and quick intervention in emergencies. Assist in coordinating appointments, surgeries, and post operative care for athletes in conjunction with team physicians, surgeons, and physical therapists Supervise athletic training interns/students (must serve as Preceptor to athletic training students as assigned) Assist / Manage treatment scheduling, oversee medical records, maintain/update rehabilitation progress reports and record injuries and care delivered in the EMR System (ensure HIPAA/FERPA compliance) What minimum qualifications you'll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration: Licensed Athletic Trainer credentialed from the Texas Advisory Board of Athletic Trainers obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
