About the role
To build a vibrant community around the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, the remote-based Site Expert will be responsible for writing a minimum of 20 articles monthly, editing team contributions, and managing social media engagement while working as a contractor.
Key responsibilities:
Write and publish at least 20 articles each month, contributing to a total of 50 articles for the site
Edit and provide feedback on articles from team contributors, suggesting topic ideas as needed
Manage the site's social media accounts, engaging with fans and sharing articles creatively
Required qualifications:
Proven experience in writing and content creation, particularly in sports or fandom-related topics
Ability to write clearly and effectively in English
Familiarity with social media platforms, especially Twitter and Facebook
Strong understanding of community building and audience engagement strategies
Availability to commit to a minimum article output and support team contributors
