About the Role: AOG Living is looking for a dependable and personable Part-Time Resident Transportation Driver to provide safe and reliable transportation for residents of our senior living community. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional driver who is looking for a steady, part-time position with a predictable local schedule rather than long-haul or over-the-road driving. You will transport residents to medical appointments, shopping trips, errands, community activities, and other scheduled destinations while providing a friendly and professional experience.
What You'll Do: Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, shopping trips, errands, activities, and scheduled outings. Operate the community shuttle/bus in a safe and responsible manner. Assist residents with safely entering and exiting the vehicle. Assist with securing wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility equipment as needed. Follow established transportation schedules and routes. Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the vehicle. Fuel the vehicle and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly. Maintain accurate transportation and mileage records. Provide friendly, courteous service and treat every resident with dignity and respect. Follow all company safety policies and applicable transportation requirements.
Qualifications
What We're Looking For:
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Previous professional driving experience preferred.
  • Experience driving trucks, buses, vans, commercial vehicles, delivery vehicles, or other large vehicles is highly valued.
  • Ability to safely assist residents with boarding and exiting the vehicle.
  • Dependable, patient, courteous, and safety-conscious.
  • Comfortable working with senior residents and providing excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and follow a scheduled route.
  • CDL and/or passenger endorsement preferred/required, depending on vehicle and applicable regulations.
