Network Security Engineer - Cyber Security Services

Contract-to-Hire or Direct HirePosted hourly pay range: $TalentFish is hiring a hands-on Security Engineer II to own security platforms, lead incident response, and improve protection across endpoint, network, application, and cloud systems. Own 2–3 security applications, including configuration, troubleshooting, control improvements, and workflow automation. Participate in an on-call rotation as assigned. Evaluate risks and security requirements before and after implementations, and measure and report security capabilities. Deliver security projects, support audits, and develop policies, standards, procedures, and security awareness materials. Partner with IT and business teams and mentor junior colleagues.4+ years in cybersecurity analysis or engineering, including security application ownership and project leadership, within 8–10 years of total experience beginning in IT.~4+ years of automation and scripting experience using languages such as Python and PowerShell.~ Experience implementing security tools, documenting processes, and measuring their value.~ A bachelor's degree and at least one security certification, such as CISSP or CompTIA Security+.~ Strong communication, project management, and mentoring skills. CrowdStrike Falcon EDR/DLP/Client, Tenable Security Center, Microsoft E5, Delinea, Qualys, xDome/Medigate, Prisma, and Cisco FTD.Benefits include health insurance, a 401(k), and paid time off.
