Nuclear Safety Analysis Expert In your role, you analyze, from the perspective of nuclear safety, various technical files. These may relate to the behavior of nuclear pressurised equipment (reactor vessel, steam generators, piping elements of primary/secondary circuits, etc.) in their environment (temperature, pressure, vibrations, etc.) or to handling equipment (crane, lorry, transloader, etc.) under different solicitations (earthquake, etc.).Regarding the two aforementioned themes, you have practical knowledge and familiarity with the associated professional references/codes, in particular NF EN 13001 and the FEM rules for lifting equipment, RCC-M, CODAP, or RCC-Mx for nuclear pressurised equipment. Thus, you conduct an analysis from the safety perspective based on the files provided by nuclear installation operators and the technical discussions you organize with them. In case of highly multidisciplinary subjects (mechanics, thermohydraulics, etc.), you will involve the competent services of the ASNR.You formalize your analysis and conclusions clearly in an opinion for the public and in a technically argued and synthetic expertise report. You present and defend your positions and conclusions during the internal validation instances at the ASNR and, if necessary, in its permanent expert groups (PEG).Finally, you ensure scientific and technical vigilance in your field of expertise and highlight new knowledge needs. In this context, you may define or follow study or research and development actions. Graduate from an engineering school with a specialty in the field of mechanics or an equivalent university degree, you have confirmed professional experience in the field of nuclear pressurised equipment. Experience in the field of handling equipment sizing/verification would be a plus. You have a critical mind and enjoy working in a team. You are comfortable expressing yourself, both orally and in writing, especially to defend technical positions.
