About the role

RoleSite Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance and safety leadership at the Carpinteria site. Responsibilitiesoversee EHS compliance with local, state, and federal regulations; manage safety programs, emergency response, hazardous materials, and risk assessments; lead incident investigations and continuous improvement initiatives; develop EHS training, foster safety culture, and coordinate cross-functional EHS activities; track EHS-related financials; promote sustainability and health initiatives; provide remote oversight for other sites.
Requirements: Bachelor's in Environmental Science, Safety, Engineering, or equivalent; 4+ years in EHS, regulatory compliance, or manufacturing in Life Science, Pharmaceutical, or Chemical sectors; strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, Cal/OSHA, DTSC regulations; experience with EHS management systems and hazard assessments. PreferredEHS certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM), GMP environment experience, project management skills, understanding of engineering controls. High-Valuehigh-risk manufacturing/laboratory environment, GMP, ISO 14001/45001, emergency response leadership. Work setupon-site full-time; occasional travel; day shift.
