AWS/CES is looking for a CNC Operator (G-Code Programming Required) in Wilmington, NC
Shift:
2nd Shift : Monday- Thursday 3:30pm-2amWeekend Shift Available: Friday-Sunday 5am-5pmTemp to Hire | Full-Time Canadian Executive Search Group (CES/AWS) is currently seeking an experienced CNC Operator for a growing manufacturing facility in Wilmington, NC. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with CNC machining experience and a solid understanding of G-Code programming looking for a stable, long-term career.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC shot peening machines
- Read, understand, and work with G-Code programs
- Perform first-piece inspections and verify product quality
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments
- Follow quality standards and production requirements
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous CNC Operator experience required
- Working knowledge of G-Code programming
- Experience with Fanuc CNC controls preferred
- Strong understanding of machining processes and tooling
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Perform repetitive tasks while safely operating machinery
