Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Power Electronics Engineer to join a global engineering team developing advanced electronic hardware for next-generation medical imaging systems. This is a hands-on electrical engineering role focused on power and analog circuit design, circuit simulation, prototyping, testing, and product development. The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing electronic circuits from concept through prototype and validation, with the ability to work across multiple hardware development projects. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop power and analog electronic circuits for advanced hardware products. Develop new designs as well as re-engineer and improve existing electronic designs. Create and maintain electrical schematics using ECAD tools. Review and approve PCB/electrical layouts. Perform circuit modeling, simulation, feasibility analysis, and engineering analysis. Develop prototypes and conduct electrical performance testing. Analyze designs for performance, reliability, cost, and manufacturability. Participate in design reviews and provide technical recommendations. Support new product introduction (NPI) and product development activities. Prepare and maintain technical design documentation. Manage assigned engineering projects from planning and execution through completion. Work collaboratively with electrical, mechanical, software, systems, manufacturing, and other engineering teams. Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical design issues. Balance multiple projects and engineering priorities while meeting project timelines.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field. 5+ years of industry experience in Electrical Engineering. 5+ years of hands-on circuit design experience. Strong experience with power electronics and/or analog circuit design. Experience with electrical schematics and standard schematic practices. Experience with circuit board/PCB design. Experience using ECAD systems for schematic capture and/or layout review. Knowledge of electronics modeling and engineering analysis techniques. Experience with circuit simulation and testing. Knowledge of control systems, integrated circuits, and digital electronics. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple engineering projects. Ability to work onsite in Milwaukee, WI from Day 1.Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Electronics Engineering. Experience with MATLAB/Simulink or similar simulation tools. Experience with both analog and digital circuit design. Experience with power conversion, switching circuits, or related power electronics applications. Experience developing prototypes and performing design verification/testing.
