Staff Accountant | Boca Raton, FL 33428$70,000+ DOE | Hybrid – 4 Days Onsite / 1 Day Remote We are partnering with a growing senior care organization in Boca Raton to hire a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on across accounting rather than working in one narrow area. The role will support (not own) billing, payroll, reconciliations, general ledger activity, month-end close, and day-to-day accounting operations. Because this organization serves senior clients and their families, the right person will also bring patience, professionalism, and a high level of attention to detail. This is an environment where accounting is personal; accuracy matters, but so does how clients are treated. What You’ll Handle Support billing and accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment posting, and account reconciliation. Research and resolve billing discrepancies and client payment issues. Assist with payroll processing for a large caregiver population. Review employee hours, deductions, mileage, and payroll information for accuracy. Reconcile payroll reports to the general ledger. Perform bank, credit card, A/R, and other account reconciliations. Assist with accounts payable and expense processing. Maintain accurate general ledger records. Support month-end and year-end close. Prepare financial reports, spreadsheets, and account schedules. Research discrepancies and make necessary corrections. Assist with accounting related to nonprofit/grant-funded operations.
