Cost Analyst - ManufacturerThe Recruiting Pros are searching for a Cost Analyst on behalf of a growing manufacturer in Rock Hill, SC. In this role you will work closely with cross-functional groups throughout the organization. Your time will be spent on analyzing production data, preparing monthly financial statements including month-end close reports, forecasting and budgeting. In addition, you will create and analyze ad-hoc data and variance reports. You must have experience 3+ years experience in cost accounting related working in a manufacturing environment to be considered for this position. You will report directly to the Corporate Controller. This full-time, permanent position and there is career growth opportunity. Routine responsibilities will require you to: Prepare monthly financial reporting packages, analytics and forecasts related to manufacturing operationsAnalyze monthly operating results including sales, gross margins and inventory for management's decision makingSupport the needs of the Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Accounting departmentsDevelop KPI scorecards and work with cross-functional teams to improve and attain desired resultsCreate business plans for capital requests with analysis of Balance Sheet and P&LEvaluate and analyze standard costs including material costs, labor, overhead and burden ratesSupport multiple manufacturing sites in South Carolina and GeorgiaPerform other responsibilities as requiredRequired Experience: B.S. Degree with emphasis on Accounting or Finance 3+ years of experience as a Cost Analyst in a manufacturing environment CPA or MBA is a plus Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
