Clinicians on assignment will find varied options for engagement beyond the clinical setting. About the Clinician's Workday Clinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services under a medical supervision model (1:6) during day shifts at an operating room in Munster, Indiana, with 50% hands-on MD involvement. The surgical case mix includes general surgery (50-60% of cases), cardiac procedures via a dedicated open heart team, lungs and vascular cases (optional), limited neurological cases including weekly spine procedures, light trauma volume, and pediatric cases limited to minor ortho and ENT procedures for patients generally age 2 and older. CRNAs and MDs perform independent regional anesthesia, and the facility utilizes Epic EMR. Call coverage is negotiable, with occasional after-hours call required including emergent cases such as C-sections; credentialing takes approximately 90 days and temporary privileges are not available.
