Bus Driver Scott County Catholic Schools is seeking a dedicated Bus Driver to safely transport students and other passengers to and from school, field trips, and various events. Join a mission-driven team committed to student well-being and community values.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely transport students and passengers to scheduled destinations. Monitor and manage student behavior on the bus. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Maintain a clean and sanitary bus environment. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff. Report incidents, route changes, and maintenance needs promptly. Assist passengers during boarding, exiting, and emergencies.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. Minimum 2 years of school transportation experience preferred. Valid driver's license for at least 3 years. Class B CDL with School Bus Endorsement required. Current First Aid and CPR certification. Ability to meet vision and physical requirements. Demonstrated knowledge and appreciation of Catholic faith life; practicing Catholic preferred.
