Software Engineer

Overview In this Senior Software Engineer role, you design, build, and maintain scalable software for JLL's digital workplace platforms. You will collaborate with product, design, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features and maintain code health. As a technical leader, you mentor engineers and guide architectural decisions to shape the platform's future. Compensation / Benefits 401(k) plan with matching contributions Medical, Dental & Vision care Paid parental leave at 100% of salary Paid Time Off and company holidays Daily Pay early access to earned wagescomprehensive benefits package prioritizing well-being Responsibilities Design and develop full-stack applications using modern web technologies and cloud-native architectures Lead technical design discussions and make architectural decisions for complex features and systems Write clean, testable code with unit, integration, and end-to-end tests Establish coding standards, design patterns, and best practices across the team Collaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing Participate in agile ceremonies to drive continuous improvement Embed testing early in the development lifecycle (shift-left)Troubleshoot production issues and maintain system health through monitoring and observability Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and operational standards Evaluate and adopt new technologies to improve productivity and maintainability Lead initiatives to enhance performance, scalability, and system quality Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning Key requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience 5–8 years of professional software development with technical leadership Expertise in at least one backend language (C#, Node.js, Python, Java) and one modern frontend framework (Angular, React, Next.js, Vue.js)Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems Relational (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cosmos DB) databases Databricks platform experience including Python, PySpark, Spark SQLAdvanced Power BI (DAX, Power Query, visualizations)CI/CD, Git, and Dev Ops practices Cloud platforms (Azure preferred) including IaC, Docker, Kubernetes, serverless Experience integrating AI agents/AI/ML into applications Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and in distributed teams across time zones Attention to detail and delivering production-ready codeleadershipmentoringclear communicationbackend: C#, Node.js, Python, Javafrontend: Angular, React, Next.js, Vue.jsRESTful APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures
