OT - Occupational Therapist

Location: Dallas, TXAssignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift: Shifts available: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with 36 guaranteed hours per week.

Job Description: The Occupational Therapist will work in an inpatient rehabilitation setting, focusing on stroke and orthopedic patients. Responsibilities include providing intensive therapy, aiming for 3 hours of therapy each day, and assisting patients who require therapy to discharge home or transition to the next level of care in an acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities: Conducting therapy evaluations and developing treatment plans. Implementing therapeutic interventions and rehabilitation programs. Documenting patient progress and outcomes in accordance with facility protocols. Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient care.

Required Experience: Experience in inpatient rehabilitation or acute care settings preferred.

Certifications/Licensure: Current state license as an Occupational Therapist is required.
