Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) Training Instructor/Developer

Overview In this role you will deliver hands-on and virtual NX CAD/CAE training to global learners, create high-quality courseware, and serve as a SME for PLM systems. You will work with NX, Teamcenter, Active Workspace, and CAE tools to translate software updates into effective learning content. You will collaborate with application owners on release changes and continuously adopt new tools and best practices, shaping training that accelerates product development and engineering capabilities. Compensation / Benefits Total Rewards resourceswell-being focusinclusive workplacehybrid work arrangement Responsibilities Deliver instructor-led and virtual training using the PLM Systems curriculum Develop and maintain training materials including exercises, demonstrations, videos, and job aids Translate new NX CAE functionality into effective learning content Keep training content aligned with current and future software releases Record and produce software demonstrations and learning videos Act as SME for NX, Teamcenter, Active Workspace, and related PLM processes Collaborate with business and software owners to understand release changes and training impact Continuously learn and validate new tools, functionality, and best practices Key requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical experience 5+ years of CAD/CAE experience in automotive product development 5+ years of combined experience with NX, Altair software, Teamcenter, and/or Teamcenter Visualization Subject matter expertise in two or more of: Siemens NX CAD/CAE; Teamcenter / Active Workspace; CAE tools (e.g., FEA, Sim Solid, Mold Flow, Topology Optimization, Ansys, Hypermesh)Strong presentation and instructor-led training skills Experience with AI platforms Glean, CoPilot and ability to create agents and prompt technical tasks Proficiency with Microsoft Office and learning tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, Snagit)Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, technical environment Strong presentation skills Excellent communication Organizational skills Siemens NX CAD/CAETeamcenter/Active WorkspaceCAÉ tools (FEA, Sim Solid, Mold Flow, Topology Optimization, Ansys, Hypermesh)
