About the role

The School of Graduate and Professional Studies (SGPS) seeks qualified Adjunct Faculty to teach graduate courses in Criminal Justice. Adjunct faculty are responsible for facilitating high-quality learning experiences, supporting student success, and contributing professional expertise to prepare the next generation of criminal justice professionals. This will be a remote position. The College seeks adjuncts who specialize in crime analytics, geospatial intelligence, cyberlaw, and digital policy.
Required: Master's degree in criminal justice or a closely related field. Minimum three years of professional experience in criminal justice, law enforcement, corrections, legal practice, victim services or a related field Demonstrated proficiency with online learning technologies and effective communication skills.
Preferred: Doctorate in Criminal Justice or Doctorate in Philosophy in Criminal Justice/Criminology, or a related field Experience teaching online at the postsecondary level. Experience in curriculum development, assessment, family engagement, and/or criminal justice leadership. Active involvement in professional organizations, research, or policy work in criminal justice ***Due to state tax payroll processing limitation, Elizabethtown College can only accept applicants residing in one of the following states: Maryland, Maine, New Jersey, North Carolina. Pennsylvania and Virginia.
