MT Or MLTNights, 3x12, 6:30 PM - 6:00 AM; Rotate weekends (usually every 5th weekend); no call.13-week assignment; Fill in Thursday night shift and can pick up vacancies if not filled with regular staff.
Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of experience.
General Certifications: BLS/BCLS.
Laboratory Certifications:
ASCP or AMT.Must be proficient in phlebotomy.
Able to perform Blood Bank testing.
Knowledge of microbiology preferred.
Familiarity with Covid regulations (PPE, isolation rooms, etc.).
Responsibilities:
Perform laboratory tests and procedures accurately and timely.
Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
Multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Work independently and communicate proficiently with colleagues.
Complete blood cultures, gram stains, and culture plantings as required.
Rotate holiday coverage as needed.
