SALES SPECIALIST – CINCINNATI, OH - REMOTE OPPORTUNITY $80K Base + Commission Company Vehicle | Company Phone | Company Computer | Company Credit Card An established manufacturer of industrial material handling solutions is seeking a Sales Specialist - Overhead Cranes to support continued growth throughout the Cincinnati market. This is a great opportunity for a sales professional with industrial equipment experience, technical aptitude, and a strong customer-focused approach to take ownership of a territory and help customers find the right equipment solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Drive sales growth for standard overhead cranes within your territory
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate equipment solutions
- Prepare pricing proposals and manage opportunities through the sales process
- Conduct customer visits and evaluate crane applications and installation requirements
- Follow up on quotes, projects, and sales opportunities
- Maintain accurate CRM activity and sales pipeline information
- Develop sales plans, goals, and strategies for territory growth
- Monitor market and competitor activity and identify new opportunities
- Participate in sales meetings, training, and business planning
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in industrial equipment is required
- Overhead crane/material handling experience is required
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical principles
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable working independently in a remote/territory-based role
- Must live in the Cincinnati area
- Strong computer and CRM skills
- Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory
- Ability and willingness to work at heights when required
