General | Surgical Tech Location: Miami, FL Setting: Hospital Pay Range: 1954.21 - 2051.92 Schedule: 07:00 - 19:00; Monday through Friday (7 am - 3:30 pm); On call: 2 weekends/month and 2 weekdays/week--Wednesdays and Thursdays Contract Length: 13 weeks Candidate Type: Traveler Requirements: Surg tech certification
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain the CVOR environment for scheduled surgical procedures.
- Support the surgical team during procedures in the CVOR.Assist with procedures including CABGs, AVR, MVR, thoracotomy, ECMO, pacemakers, tracheostomy, and MAZE procedures.
- Follow established documentation practices using Meditech.
- Provide scheduled and on-call coverage across assigned hospital
