Senior Sourcing Operations Manager - Contract Manufacturing

Work Model: 3 days on-site per week (Tues, Wed, Thurs)

Position Summary: Lead contract manufacturing sourcing strategy, supplier negotiations, and cost management for hardware products, accessories, and related systems. Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Operations, and Finance to optimize supplier performance, product costs, and supply chain strategy.

Key Responsibilities: Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management Develop manufacturing and sourcing strategies in partnership with Product and Engineering teams. Conduct market analysis, supplier identification, RFIs/RFQs, and supplier selections. Negotiate contracts, SOWs, pricing, and commercial terms with contract manufacturers and suppliers. Manage NRE, tooling, equipment, testing, and BOM cost negotiations. Drive forecast alignment, materials planning, and procurement operations with manufacturing partners. Cost Management Own product cost targets throughout the product lifecycle. Develop should-cost models and identify cost reduction opportunities. Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance to improve financial performance and reporting. Build and execute cost optimization initiatives. Supply Chain Strategy & Operations Map and assess supply chain networks. Identify supply continuity risks and mitigation strategies. Support supplier segmentation and operational improvement initiatives.

Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in supply chain, sourcing, manufacturing, or procurement. Strong contract manufacturing and supplier negotiation experience. Expertise in cost modeling, should-cost analysis, and cost reduction. Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills. Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Technical degree preferred. Interest in advanced technology, robotics, aerospace, or consumer electronics.
