Maintenance Training Coordinator - Toledo, Oregon, United States

Overview In this role, you will design, deliver, and continuously improve training that boosts equipment reliability, workforce capability, and safety in a union manufacturing setting. You will work closely with Operations to qualify and certify employees, aligning learning with reliability goals and mill performance. Using structured models like ADDIE/SAT, you’ll standardize content delivery and drive knowledge transfer across the site. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role focused on reducing downtime and elevating operational excellence. You will lead with integrity and contribute to a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Compensation / Benefitsmedicaldentalvisionretirementpaid vacation/time offeducational assistance Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain structured training programs using ADDIE/SATCreate learning materials (procedures, job aids, guides, videos, safety content) and standardize templates Coordinate classroom, OJT, peer-to-peer, and digital training for hourly employees, supervisors, and leaders Coach SMEs on instructional techniques and content delivery to support adult learning Develop, administer, and maintain certification and qualification programs and track completion in LMSMaintain accurate training documentation and audit-ready records Perform training needs analyses and continuously improve programs to reduce downtime and incidents Collaborate with project teams and vendors to train employees on new equipment and processes Follow up on learning issues and implement corrective L&D actions Participate in training committees to align with mill priorities Key requirements High School Diploma with 5+ years in manufacturing maintenance, reliability, or technical training Experience developing and delivering technical training materials Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point proficiency Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skillsfacilitationcommunicationcross-functional collaborationADDIE/SAT training design Learning Management System (LMS)OJT programs and task-based training
