Event Setup & Kitchen Help

Location: Huntsville, AL

Pay Rate: $15.00 / hour

Shift: 1st Shift (Part-Time, Schedule varies by event)

Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable, hardworking individual to join our team in a multi-purpose role supporting facility setup, light kitchen assistance, and general grounds upkeep. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and keeping venue operations running smoothly before, during, and after events.

Key Responsibilities: Event Setup & Teardown:

• Arrange tables, chairs, staging, and equipment according to event floor plans.
• Pack down equipment and clean event spaces following function completion.
• Kitchen & Food Support:
• Assist kitchen staff with light prep work, dishwashing, and maintaining clean food service areas.
• Restock supplies, wipe down surfaces, and assist with general kitchen sanitation.
• Grounds Maintenance & Event Parking:
• Direct traffic and assist guests with parking during event arrivals.
• Walk the exterior grounds and parking area to pick up trash and maintain a clean appearance.
• Empty outdoor waste bins and assist with trash disposal.

Qualifications & Requirements: Flexibility: Willingness to perform a mix of indoor setup/kitchen tasks and outdoor grounds work as needed. Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctual, and attentive to instructions. Customer-Focused: Friendly attitude when assisting guests in the parking area. Prior experience in event setup, venue operations, or light kitchen help is a plus, but not required.
