Geotechnical Engineer

Job Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite) License Requirement: Illinois PE License is required

Job Description: We are seeking a full-time Geotechnical Engineer (PE)to work in our Chicago, IL office.

Key Responsibilities: Prepare or assist staff in preparing geotechnical reports Respond to geotechnical-related requests from job sites Delegate tasks and visits to staff and geotechnical professionals Conduct weekly video meetings and quarterly in-person visits with regional staff Collaborate with other Geotechnical Services Managers through regular meetings and events Assist in recruiting and developing geotechnical staff Review requests for geotechnical proposals and advise on level of effort Understand and plan geotechnical schedules based on proposals Contribute to marketing content for proposals as needed Monitor active investigations and support staff regularly Attend mandatory pre-drill and post-drill meetings Deliver training sessions to staff and clients on geological/geotechnical services Assess field investigation risks and provide site oversight or training when needed Travel may be required to any Fenagh office or client location
