PTA - Physical Therapist Assistant

Location: Julesburg, COAssignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift: Day shift, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. No weekends or on-call shifts required.

Job Description: The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will work in a clinic attached to Memorial Hospital, primarily providing outpatient rehabilitation services. The clinic serves a diverse patient population, including those from the nearby nursing home, assisted living facility, and surrounding communities. The PTA will have access to a small fitness center and a variety of treatment options, including cupping, dry needling, and blood flow restriction therapy.

Responsibilities: Provide physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed physical therapist. Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Utilize various treatment modalities and techniques, including but not limited to cupping and dry needling. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Required Experience: Experience in orthopedic rehabilitation is required. Ability to work with a diverse patient population across various age groups and diagnoses.

Certifications/Licensure: Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Colorado is required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
