Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $2,425 per week

Experience: Minimum 2 years as an RN and 1 year in the specialty. First-time travelers accepted if qualified. Mandatory background: Cardiac/CV and general surgery experience, with both scrub and circulating proficiency.

Required skills: Vascular, orthopedic, general, ENT, urology, robotic, and GYN procedures; proficiency in vein and radial artery harvesting. License/certification: West Virginia or compact RN license; pending license accepted for submission. AHA BLS required.

Call: One day weekly and 1–2 weekends per 4–5-week schedule, with a 30-minute response time. Holiday call required. Distance: Generally 100 miles from the facility ; candidates 75–99 miles away may receive individual approval.

Preferred: Cerner experience and previous charge experience. Employment eligibility: Current Vandalia Health employees are ineligible; former permanent staff must wait 2 years. Vaccination: Flu vaccination required October–March unless an approved medical exemption is documented. COVID vaccination not required. Submission: One PDF with work history, specialty skills checklist, two manager/charge references from the past two years, recent Nursys verification, driver's license, and certification copies. SSN, DOB, and all RTO must be included upfront. Limit holiday RTO to one major holiday.
